Thanks for coming to visit Nice Farm Goods!

It was fun to visit with you all and get to know some great homeschooling neighbors.  We had a lot of questions at the end, so I just wanted to send this page out and answer some of them for everyone!

  1. Can we come back?
    1. Yes!  Click on the “Volunteer Here” button at the top of this page.  We take volunteers on Saturday mornings starting in May (We have 1 day open in April).  When you volunteer, you get to either take food home (if we’re harvesting that day), OR apply farm credits to future produce.
    2. We’re trying to get the word out and get more community involvement, so we’d love it if you help us spread the word about volunteering!
  2. How do I care for my microgreens?
    1. Put a rock on top for a little weight
    2. Wait for 3-5 days (it really depends on temperature…the warmer the faster) until the greens start to push up on the top container.
    3. Take the weight off and spray them with a little water
    4. Place in a sunny location for about 5 more days.
    5. Spray with water every day or every other day. You don’t want them soggy.  When they dry out, they’ll start to droop, and you know they’ll need water.
    6. When they get big enough to eat, cut them off and enjoy them!
  3. Can I buy microgreens growing kits later?
    1. Yes!  When you’re ready, just order online HERE, or email Jennah at greens@nicefarmgoods.com.  You can add on sunflower seeds or pea seeds, enough to fill a whole tray, for $5 each.  We can arrange for local pickup.
    2. If you bought a kit today, please email me, so I can send you your PDF!
  4. Are you still selling farm shares?
    1. Yes we still have spots left. You can check out the options HERE.
      1. Single boxes will be available starting in July.  With the single boxes, and the farm share boxes, you’ll get to fill them with the produce you use the most.  It kinda feels like a little farmers market when you pick up your box.
  5. How can I stay updated about picking peaches?
    1. Just FYI, in the fall, we do both U-Pick and We Pick peach options.
    2. To stay updated on timing for peaches and all other farm information, tips and tricks, etc, sign up for the email.  When you go to nicefarmgoods.com, just scroll all the way to the bottom to sign up for updates.
    3. You can also join our facebook page.  It’s not super active, but I try to keep it updated as well.
  6. Just for your information:  We’re having a free class here on the Farm on April 3!  It’s a lot like a mom’s night out. Please RSVP. Here are all the details:
  7. Hope to see you all again sometime. If you have any questions feel free to text Jennah at 719-494-7522
